About the Doula
My work began in early childhood education, where I learned how deeply children and families are connected—and how meaningful support must care for both. After becoming a parent, I felt drawn to support families beyond the classroom, particularly during the often unseen postpartum season.

As a postpartum doula and educator, I provide steady, compassionate care for families as they move through the emotional, physical, and relational transitions of early parenthood. I focus on listening, honoring each family’s values and choices, and offering practical support, nourishment, education, and community connection. I look forward to supporting you and your family as you move through your parenthood journey!

Philosophy & Mission Statement
The Story Behind the Name
"Swaying Saguaro"
The saguaro cactus is often regarded as a spirit helper, with its blossoms reminding us to trust our inner wisdom. Traditionally used to help restore the body during times of illness or transition, the saguaro also stands as a symbol of parental love and care. Enduring some of the harshest environmental conditions, it reflects unconditional love—strong, steady, and resilient—much like the love a parent offers their child.

The “swaying” in Swaying Saguaro speaks to the gentle, rhythmic movement many parents instinctively use to soothe and comfort their baby. This slow, grounding motion reflects presence, attunement, and connection.

The Saguaro encompasses my philosophy as a Postpartum Doula and as a parent, symbolizing many aspects of strength, community and resilience.
